Checkout these results from TrueFIT™ Client machine readings and results from our client satisfaction survey, undertaken 12 weeks into CPAP therapy with the TrueFIT™ Mask.
Clinical Trials
Clinical research is currently being conducted into the TrueFIT™ Custom Mask through the Thoracic and Sleep Group (QLD).
The primary focus of the research is to assess the rate of therapy compliance among 50 CPAP patients who use the TrueFIT™ Custom Mask. Experience gained prior to commencing therapy with a TrueFIT™ Mask will provide a comparison for the research group.
Other factors being measured include:
- CPAP performance (AHI, leak, etc)
- Epworth Sleepiness Scale
- Functional Outcomes of the Sleep Questionnaire; and
- a range of other measures aimed at determining patient and partner perceptions of therapy.
The study will continue to evaluate performance within the research group over twelve months, to provide both short and long term data.
Publication of the results is a key outcome of the study.
